Care Home Sessions
You're in the right place
Looking for something a little different or exploring new ways to enrich your residents' week?
Here's everything you need to know about what we offer, how it works, and how to get started.
Why care homes choose us
A qualified, trusted facilitator. Our founder Savy is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years' clinical experience, alongside training in NLP, journal therapy and holistic wellbeing approaches — a rare combination that brings genuine therapeutic insight to every session, not just craft know-how.
Fully compliant, every time. Enhanced DBS check (with Adults' Barred List), public liability insurance, and a full written risk assessment.
Sessions built around your residents. Every activity is adapted for mobility, dexterity and cognitive needs, using non-toxic, easy-grip, dementia-friendly materials throughout.
Consistency your residents can look forward to. Whether it's a one-off taster or a regular weekly or monthly slot, we bring the same warm, familiar face each time — something residents can genuinely anticipate.
What a session looks like
Sessions typically run 60 minutes and are designed to be relaxed, inclusive and entirely pressure-free. A gentle welcome, a simple guided activity, and space for conversation, memory and connection along the way.
Popular themes include:
- 🌸 Seasonal collage and card making
- 🖌️ Sensory watercolour and mark-making
- 🫙 Memory jars and keepsake pieces
- 🌿 Group pieces residents build together over several weeks, ready to display in the home
Every session can be tailored to your residents' interests and abilities — just let us know what would work best for your home.
Getting started
We know how much thought goes into choosing the right activities for your residents. That's why we're always happy to arrange a short introductory call, or run a complimentary taster session, so you can see for yourself how it feels before committing to anything regular.
